Rainy Bus ride in London

I'm just back from London and had a wonderful time.
But lots of rain too. Taking a bus on a Friday evening and keeping my camera eye on all the lights, the blurs and bokehs makes it a great trip in the end.

In the woods

Standing in the woods. Grounded Now in May, it’s wonderful, the tender green of the birches, the rushing silence of the spruces and bird songs everywhere. MV Wald 1 Beauty all around. Forest beauties I am walking the dog, gathering sticks and twigs. We do not have much forests in this part of Germany, so being in the woods is more or less a seldom event for me. MV Wald 2 Later that day, I am making my typicals little „spools“ out of the sticks and twigs I have collected. Collection They are grinded and treated with oil and wax. The colours of sand, wood, stone, ashes and honey. I am madly in love with earth colours these days. The colours of stick, stone, sand, ashes and honey Some sticks carry magic signs and pictures under their bark. Do you see the centaur? Magic wood (the centaur ) Sometimes funny things came up, like this little garden marker gnome. The herb gnome

To live in the present

I wish I could live in the present. But now in February (and always in February) one wishes with every fiber, that spring will come and winter will be gone for good.
Reminder to live in the
present
Maybe one will miss such sight, but there are so many other sights to let go off a "wow" when spring does come.

I love how winter makes the landscape pure, simple, peaceful and soothing.

Winter days, Mini books and a special box

Winter is going on. We have some snow again.
Winter is back

So one enjoys staying inside.
 Sunday breakfast
Cosy, cosy, cosy....

Svea is 11 years now! Time flies...

She spends most of her time drawing.

I am working on Mini books most of the times. And mini means matchbox size.
 Colourful

Some of them are called "Kvinna books". Kvinna is the swedish word for "Woman", which I find very inspiring, because it sounds so close to Queen.
