Wishcasting Wednesday

Every now and then, I take part in Jamie Ridler's Wishcasting Wednesday.
It's a nice thing to share wishes, a powerful tool.

Today's wish is: What is your greatest wish?

As I thought about it, it came straight from the heart: Coming home!

Home, whereever that maybe...
I was born in Berlin-West and had to leave it when I was 3 years old. When I came back 30 years later, this town wasn't the same anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's so great that the wall has fallen down at last, but....I have never had the feeling of being at home, only when I was in England. Then everything falls into the right places. Germany is such a cool place(and I don't only mean the weather), what am I doing here? Why can't I go away? Is it really about money?
And where is the one, my soulmate that gives me the feeling to be at home? Why can't I give that feeling to myself?

Maybe I am an old soul and most of my soul tribe members are on the other side. I cannot shed this feeling of loneliness all the time, it really drives me mad.
So I just want to come home. Where ever that maybe.

Thanks for sharing this with me.

  6. When I read your posts I had a lot of questions that I realize are very personal and I´m not expecting you to answer them here. These are questions I feel are part of the story: why did you go back? When you say the city is different to when you were 3, do you remember that or is it a feeling based on what you´ve been told? What did your previous location had that felt like "home"? Have you thought of a place that could be "home", even going back? What would you loose by leaving your place?

  7. I know exactly how you feel. I grew up moving a lot as a child... four years in (West) Germany ~Weisbaden~ as well... and have never felt like I had a home. As you wish for yourself, so I also wish for you.

  9. I can also relate to this - your comment "Maybe I am an old soul and most of my soul tribe members are on the other side." ...
I remember wondering if I was adopted as a child (no :) ... & get that disjointed feeling at times ... I hope you visit 'the Vale' for my wish, & see the picture I posted - I grew up in Oregon (about the size of Germany), & love our own mountains, & mostly feel at home - still have that 'longing'/displaced feeling at times ... & was totally taken by surprise when, about 12 years ago, I went to California with a friend, to Mt Shasta (in the picture) & cried as we left!! My oh my oh!! Soul group / deep connection ...
I feel that with many worshops, & then the 'tug' as we disperse to go our separate ways ...

As LaWendula wishes for herself, so I heart-fully wish as well!
    May you find 'home!'

  12. I too wish for you to find your home. I have been so lucky to find the someone who is home to me even tho my real home is an ocean away. It was much easier to find my home inside of me when someone else could see me. you have given me such joy and you have such a sharing spirit, I hope you find whatever it is you are longing for, best & blessings always
